We are pleased to announce that Gate.io will be supporting the SYRUP token migration.

Pausing MPL activity

• Gate.io has disabled new margin borrowing and crypto loans for Maple (MPL) by November 5, 2024, 08:00 UTC.

• MPL_USDT futures have switched to “Reduce-only” mode on November 6, 2024, 08:00 UTC.

• On November 7, 2024, 08:00 UTC, Gate.io has settled open MPL_USDT futures positions at the average index price.

• Gate.io will suspend all Maple (MPL) services (deposits, withdrawals, trading) on November 8, 2024, 02:00 UTC.

• Users engaged in MPL quant grid trading should adjust strategies or face automatic termination before November 8, 2024, 02:00 UTC.

• Simple Earn assets in MPL will be liquidated before November 8, 2024, 02:00 UTC unless redeemed manually.

• Outstanding Maple (MPL) loans must be repaid before November 8, 2024, 02:00 UTC to avoid automatic settlement.

• Trading will resume 6am UTC on November 14, 2024.

SYRUP conversion and listing

• Gate.io will enable SYRUP deposits and trading and all active MPL holders on Gate.io will receive SYRUP tokens in proportion to the 1 MPL : 100 SYRUP token split directly into their accounts. No further action is required.

• Gate.io is planning to support SYRUP on launch date on Nov 13th.
