Will the SYRUP token govern both Maple and Syrup.fi?

Maple and Syrup will both be governed by the SYRUP token. Syrup expands the Maple ecosystem by broadening access to Maple's core product and invigorating the community through staking.

Will the SYRUP token cause any dilution for existing MPL holders?

With the launch of SYRUP token, there will be no dilution for existing MPL holders; all existing MPL holders will be able to convert their tokens into SYRUP on a 1:100 basis.

The number of SYRUP tokens in circulation will exactly align with the details passed by the Maple Community in MIP-010. No further dilution is currently expected.

How will governance work?

SYRUP governance will model existing MPL governance. You can find all the details on the governance process here.

When will the migration happen?

The migration is expected to happen in Q4 of this year. More details on the migration will be provided at a later date. Those details will include:

• Conversion of MPL held on exchanges and exchange listings

• Staking

• How to add it to wallets

• Governance voting

• Security and audits around the new token
